Ethan launched his career at EY in Assurance services before moving to a boutique real estate private equity firm where he analyzed the company's portfolio of operating businesses and developed KPI dashboards. Ethan then moved to Napa to work with Silicon Valley Bank's wine team, where he was responsible for 100MM+ in loans for wineries and vineyards. Ethan currently owns and operates a portfolio of small businesses which includes: laundromats, a private mailbox store and storage. A graduate of USD, Ethan is a licensed CPA in the state of CA and an active board member for Diabetes Research Connection based in Del Mar where he serves as Finance and Personnel Chair.

Thor started his career at CBIZ where he served as manager of a small business consulting group responsible for providing privately held companies with tax advice and direction. Thor then formed Murril, Eakes & Company in 1994 which he maintained until he launched Eakes & Company in 2013. Thor specializes in tax consulting and financial reporting, putting his 30 years of experience to work on a daily basis. He also provides high net worth individuals with personal tax services including strategic tax planning. Thor also owns and invests in various small businesses and real estate projects. A graduate of SDSU, Thor is a licensed CPA in the state of CA and an active board member of the San Diego Auto Museum based in Balboa Park.
